The construction team faced a significant challenge with this project, as they needed to excavate several feet to add the headroom and plumbing to make this basement more functional. Once the groundwork was complete, I had the opportunity to transform this space into a cozy retreat. Collaborating closely with the clients, we carefully selected LVT flooring, lighting, and paint for the main spaces. I also designed the bathroom using tiles that reflected the age of the home and the clients' style. The final result is a basement that perfectly balances functionality with the clients' individual character, creating a space that's uniquely theirs.
